The Flint Barn is in fact the ruin of an old agricultural barn which has been falling into disrepair for many years.
It was decided that the area surrounding the barn, including a small quarry would be ideal for holding events such as Bushcraft Days.
A small group of hardworking volunteers cleared the area ready for the bushcraft day, taking away the broken roof structure of the old barn, & much discarded rubbish – heavy work, but a very satisfying result!
