Fundraising
The Steyning Downland Scheme has been set up as a charity to benefit wildlife, the environment & the local community.
We are supported by a keen & enthusiastic team of volunteers who help administer the charity and perform the many tasks required in managing 160 acres of land. Without this support we would be unable to achieve our 'Vision'.
We also need to raise funds to enable us to pay for the many undertakings involved in our stewardship of the land.
If you feel you may be able to help then you could join our 'Friends Scheme', support us by doing your on-line shopping via 'shop2fundraise', or donate easily via 'Bmycharity'.

Friends of the Steyning Downland Scheme
Join our Friends Scheme and enjoy a cream tea at Wiston House Gardens
Launched at the Big Picnic 2011 our friends scheme has been gathering speed and people are coming on board to offer their support. We hold special friends events each year which include a Cream Tea at Wiston House Gardens with a guided tour of the beautiful gardens which are normally closed to the public.
In addition to attending special friends events by signing up to the scheme, friends receive a quarterly newsletter where you can read about our many conservation projects, find out what our rangers are up to and hear about all out latest events.
To become a friend and receive your invitation to our next cream tea sign up to our scheme today by completing the application form below and returning to us with the appropriate membership fee. Family £15 Individual £10
On receipt of payment will we send you a membership card and our latest newsletter
We would also welcome new friends to help us fundraise for the scheme, this could be holding a coffee morning with friends, a quiz night, taking part in a sponsored walk, cycle, run whatever takes your fancy.
